At first, I agreed.
But ask youself this: The Howard govt has been stacking the ABC board with conservatives for a decade. What difference has it made??
The Board's functions are limited, and I believe that their main function is the appointment of a managing director. Which they've already done!!
As a statement of intent, it's provocative. But I'm not sure he'll have much of an affect.
